Timeplan Education Services are very pleased to be recruiting currently for a Senior School Administrator to support a lovely primary school that we are working with in the Borehamwood area.

This role is a very versatile and hands on role, so would suit someone with previous school based experience (preferred but not essential). The key objectives and responsibilities of this role are as follows:

1) To complete numerous administration taks within the school office to ensure the continuation of a smooth running school, including uploading documents to the school system, filling out and filing documents by hand, and dealing with front office queries from other staff members, pupils and parents.

2) Ordering and maintaining supplies within the school office where neccesary, making sure that everything is well stocked and organised.

This is a lovely but very fast paced role, which will require an individual to possess strong organisational skills and be calm and able to work under pressure, as school offices can quite often be hectic!

Key responsibilities can include but are not limited to:

You will have experience with Minute-taking

Liaising with both parents, carers, teachers and other school staff throughout the school day.

Dealing with sensitive information and paperwork, sometimes relating to children and safeguarding or welfare issues.

Ensuring school systems are up to date and information is uploaded to school systems accurately, including at times the use of systems such as SIMS, Bromcom, or ARBOR.

Logging and monitoring attendance

Answering the telephone and responding to parents via email as well as stepping in to complete ad-hoc tasks as and when the needs of the school require you to.This is a full-time, temp position (there might be a potential of the role becoming permanent if this suits both candidate and school), 5 days a week, 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.
