We are working with an award winning bridging finance provider based in the West End. They have a strong presence in the market, specialising in offering fast and flexible bridging loans and buy-to-let mortgages to valued intermediaries and clients.
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to establish and oversee a new department focused on Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Finance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the product development, distribution, underwriting, transaction execution, and portfolio management of commercial property loans across the UK. The Head of CRE will report directly to the CEO and be a key member of the senior management team, playing a crucial role in shaping the overall strategic direction of the business.
This individual will work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that the objectives of the commercial real estate finance department align with the broader goals of the company, fostering collaboration and driving growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- CRE Originiations
- CRE Underwriting and Transaction Execution
- CRE Portfolio Management
- CRE New product and proposition development
Role Requirements:
- Demonstrable track record of leading commercial real estate finance teams, with expertise in underwriting, transaction execution, and portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of the UK commercial property market, including trends, regulations, and market participants (i.e., brokers, developers, investors).
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with sales teams to drive business growth and innovation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of risk management and financial structuring in commercial real estate.
