Description

  • Take direct ownership of strategic grocery and discounter retail accounts, driving revenue and fostering strong partnerships.
  • Recruit, lead, and mentor a small, high-performing commercial team, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company's broader growth objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional activities with key retail partners.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • This role is home based, the successful candidate will be prepared for national travel

Profile

  • Current experience managing key accounts within grocery and discount retail sectors, preferably within the personal care or homecare categories.
  • A background as a Sales Director in a similar SME environment or be an ambitious Head of Sales or National Account Controller ready for a step up.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing small teams.
