Sales Director - Premium Drinks Brand – London Up to £90k plus equity, travel and commission

My client is a well-known and respected drinks brand with over 10 years in the industry. Their product is not only sustainable and innovative, but they have a track record in sales covering both the On and Off trade.
As the Sales Director, you will be at the forefront of our sales operations, overseeing the development and execution of sales strategies to achieve our ambitious goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership within the beverage industry, particularly in the draught product sector. You will lead a talented sales team, cultivate relationships with key clients, and ensure our brand's continued success in a competitive market.
Overall the Sales Director will have the ability to get stuck in, generate sales, grow the team and delivery a strategy to board level.
The Sales Director responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with our business objectives and drive national growth.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners to enhance brand presence and drive sales.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
- Set clear performance metrics, monitor progress, and implement initiatives to improve sales performance and achieve targets.
- Work closely with marketing, production, and other departments to ensure cohesive strategies and optimal product availability.
- Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
The ideal Sales Director Candidate:
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a Senior Sales role within the drink industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that drive significant revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive a sales team to exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Willingness to travel regularly to meet with clients, distributors, and team members across the country.
