Job Purpose Summary:
To lead the installation of AV systems within various environments, predominantly throughout the London area with occasional travel to other areas throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 1st and 2nd fix Installation of sound systems, lighting, VC systems, screens, audio systems, digital signage, control systems and cabling infrastructure.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Providing guidance and training to Junior Engineers.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Acting as the point of contact on site for any client update requests or queries.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Interpretation of schematics drawings.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Adding hardware to pre-built racks on site.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assisting programmers in the final stage commissioning of audio DSPs and control systems where required.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide client training on how to use installed systems.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Working away from home on occasion.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Maintain a safe and tidy workspace.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Adhere to health and safety policies.
Qualities and Skills Required:
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Full UK Driving License.
-         3+ Years’ experience as an AV Engineer.
In Return:
If successful within your application you will receive an annual salary of between £40K - £45K per annum depending on experience along with overtime rates of between 1.5X – 2X.
Ongoing training will be provided with opportunities to gain certifications and you will also receive 25 days annual leave, bank holidays
All necessary tools will be provided along with a company credit card to cover all expenses.
