A leading financial institute is looking to recruit a Senior Data Integration Developer, to deliver high quality Data applications, ETL processes and operational reports following development best practices and security standards, as well as providing 2nd and 3rd level support for those same applications. You will work closely with their suppliers and partners to deliver solutions.

APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

  • Work with business users and SCRUM team to ensure business requirements are defined and agreed, co-ordinating requests for enhancements and developments for controlled applications.
  • Work with the Development Manager to design, develop, optimize and support data applications following development best practices, using the appropriate tools and adhering to the most efficient development process.
  • Deliver development and enhancement activities in support of the business raised change requests and releases working closely with the CDITO Teams, Partners and Suppliers
  • Solution architecture and design
  • Quality Assurance, including quality planning and controls for the organisation and Suppliers
  • Advice and guidance to users in support of their application requirements

APPLICATION SUPPORT

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support across key data applications. Categorising, prioritising, triaging and progressing service requests, incidents, problems and changes which are logged with IT, in-line with industry best practices (i.e. ITIL)
  • Coordinate and direct suppliers where 3rd party suppliers are required to deliver the end-to end application support capability, ensuring end-users are regularly updated on progress against their service request /incident /problem /change request
  • Responsible for monitoring data applications and ETL processes and proactively act upon any detected issues

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2019 or higher
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Dynamics 365 integration using KingswaySoft
  • Creating complex T-SQL queries (Dynamic SQL, Cursors etc.)
  • SQL Stored Procedures and Functions
  • Visual Studio 2015 or higher
  • Design of complex SSIS or DTSX packages using Package and Project deployment configurations
  • CI/CD
  • Version control and branching methodologies using GIT
  • Application integration using SOAP web services and REST APIs
