AVP - Derivatives & Collateral Operations

London/Hybrid | Temporary | £360 per day via Umbrella Company

About Our Client:

The Role:

As an AVP - Derivatives & Collateral Operations, you will play a vital role in the Collateral Management and Trade Support functions within the Derivative Operations Department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of BAU and daily team tasks.
  • Proactively reviewing and improving operational processes.
  • Promoting a customer-centric culture and building strong relationships.
  • Facilitating communication and issue resolution with internal stakeholders.
  • Adhering to bank policies, best practises, and compliance procedures.
  • Assisting with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades and development.

Key Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a related role.
  • Knowledge of Futures margining and reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of Cleared margining and reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with derivative products such as CDS, IRS, CCS, Caps/Floors.
  • Understanding of ISDA documentation and CSA Agreements.
  • Knowledge of EMIR and relevant regulations.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Excel for financial data manipulation.
  • Self-motivation, energy, flexibility, and collaboration.
  • Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • A Level education or equivalent.
