Exciting Opportunity: Operation Co-ordinator

As a consultant representing a leading logistics company, I am thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for a Project Co-ordinator. This role is pivotal in maintaining operational excellence, high productivity, and customer satisfaction in import and export services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multimodal transport operations (road, sea, air, warehousing, out of gauge cargo)
  • Accept and process orders with precision
  • Consult, plan, and schedule operations
  • Make informed service decisions and provide ad hoc quotations
  • Control and report on urgent deliveries
  • Follow up on customs clearance and ensure timely delivery
  • Open files and arrange pick-ups
  • Book direct/back-to-back shipments with carriers
  • Handle customer inquiries and operational job costing
  • Notify customers of arrivals and coordinate transit shipments
  • Act on customer instructions promptly
  • Collaborate with customs subcontractors and evaluate their performance
  • Maintain LINK and provide track & trace information
  • Manage irregularities within your scope
  • Control temporary import/export files and submit necessary documentation
  • Uphold standard operational processes and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Support sales with forwarding/logistic expertise
  • Drive operational excellence and initiate corrective measures
  • Utilize operation enabling applications effectively

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Strong functional forwarding know-how (air/logistics/SCM), preferably in projects related to Oil & Gas, mining, and energy sectors
  • Comprehensive toolbox and product knowledge
  • Strategic understanding of our products and services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset
  • Operational industry experience is preferred, especially in the logistics sector
  • International working experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English
