Our client, a leading energy management broker, is looking for an Account Manager to join their team. In this role, you will oversee a dedicated customer base while providing support to other account managers as needed, ensuring outstanding service through prompt responses, accurate information and timely updates. Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage an assigned portfolio of accounts
  • Collaborate with Business Development to ensure seamless transition of ownership 
  • Develop strong positive & professional relationships with both clients and stakeholders
  • Act as the main point of contact for existing clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively
  • Maintain clear, open, and timely communication to ensure seamless service
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information at all times
  • Liaise with suppliers for quotes and query resolution, ensuring timely client reports within SLAs
  • Ensure accurate records, communications, and task management for client contract end dates

Experience:

  • Experience in the energy industry, including billing & industry-specific anomalies (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of energy markets and billing processes (highly desirable)
  • Proven experience in customer account management.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels (essential)
  • Expertise in client relationship management, with a proactive approach to handling concerns and complaints (essential)
  • Strong multitasking skills, managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders effectively (essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (essential)
