Business Development Manager - Commercial Debt Collection Services (Hybrid)

£50-53k + commission + Car Allowance

The client is a large multinational business with offices across the globe, facilitating trade for their clients by managing credit insurance and risk management needs. They also have a range of other products including factoring, debt collection, risk insurance and bonding.

Working from home and office 2/3 days each week.

OBJECTIVES:

  • To deliver new business sales to meet individual target
  • Sell Debt Collection Services to large corporate/ Enterprise business across all viable sectors in the UK
  • Develop a network of introducers to provide new business leads
  • Work closely with their offices globally to support global deals
  • Work with colleagues across other service lines to secure new contracts
  • To work closely with the "Administrative" teams to ensure a timely and efficient service to prospects and clients

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of budgeted targets for new debt placement
  • Generate and follow up leads and appointments through networking and proactive prospecting as well as using their marketing resources
  • Update and maintain the CRM system
  • Manage relationships with prospects, introducers and stakeholders
  • Do full KYC (know your customer) and UBO (ultimate beneficial owner) checks on all prospects moving to contractPresent your pipeline and forecast bi-weekly to your manager time confirm achievement of targets

SPECIALIST SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven ability to work in a face paced global business
  • Proven experience of working in a sales role with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Autonomous: able to self-motivate and focus on goals and activities while working on one’s own
  • Experience of lead generation
  • Sales negotiation and communication skills
  • Able to build rapport and long term relationships with internal stakeholders and clients to build productive networks
  • Prioritisation: determines the importance of each task and allocates time accordingly
  • In depth familiarity and knowledge of various contract structures in order to provide a consultative solution
  • Knowledge of current economic climate and how it affects the market
