About the Business Development Manager Role

This isn’t a sit-back-and-wait role. You’ll be actively prospecting, hitting the road, and generating new business with property finance brokers, introducers, and professional networks. Expect to spend 3-4 days a week out in the field, attending face-to-face meetings and building strong broker relationships.

Business Development Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Originate new bridging & development finance deals through proactive broker engagement
  • Build a strong regional presence, meeting 20+ brokers per week via face-to-face and virtual meetings
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-quality lending opportunities
  • Educate brokers on the lender’s USPs, credit appetite, and deal structuring
  • Work closely with credit teams to get deals across the line efficiently
  • Represent the lender at industry events, networking opportunities, and market forums
