The role will report to the Business Development Leader of this premier Wealth Manager.
The key areas of responsibility are as follows:· Making high quality sales calls to High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI).· Nurturing leads overtime to build their confidence in the offering up to the point of engagement.· Developing and managing a structured sales pipeline, ensuring effective tracking of leads, prospects, and sales activities to meet revenue and growth targets.· Supporting on, and leading campaigns to re-engage potential leads in our 'Warm’ prospect base.· Running regular pipeline appraisal sessions with financial advisers, providing guidance on leads passed to them, evaluating performance, and ensuring alignment with business development goals for optimal client conversion.· Improving your financial planning knowledge over time as well as develop an in-depth understanding of the offering and our USPs.· Conducting thorough market research and competitor analysis to inform business development strategies and maintain a competitive edge in the wealth management space.· Organising and delivering educational webinars and seminars on wealth management topics. This should aim to effectively engage prospective and current clients whilst demonstrating thought leadership and promoting the firm’s services.The PersonThe successful candidate will be proactive, persuasive, and able to clearly articulate the value of wealth management services, ensuring they consistently meet or exceed sales targets. Adaptable and resilient, they will thrive in a fast-paced environment.They will:· 3-5 years of experience in wealth management sales· Have a strong track record in driving revenue growth by consistently introducing high-potential leads through effective consultative telephone selling techniques.· Be skilled at building and establishing short-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals over the phone.· Have comprehensive understanding of investment products, financial planning, tax strategies, and estate planning to identify client need to engage with the services.· Have proven ability to identify additional business opportunities and partnerships, expanding the firm’s lead flow through networking, referrals, and strategic marketing initiatives.· Be proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) to track, monitor, and analyse sales activities and pipeline metrics, ensuring real-time reporting and forecasting accuracy.· Be skilled in creating and delivering detailed sales reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to leadership, offering insights for ongoing improvement and strategy refinement.· Ideally have a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in wealth management, ensuring all sales and business development activities adhere to compliance standards.· Have a degree level education with a minimum 2:1 grade.· Be organised and able to prioritise and manage workload.· Be a team player.· Value attention to detail.· Take a critical approach and always look to learn and improve.· Contribute to a fun environment in the workplace and the wider culture.Where will I be working?We are looking for someone for our London office, and offer hybrid working, which includes 2 days in the office, with the remainder at home.
