National Account Manager – Wholesale/Foodservice

£55,000 - £60,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance + Bonus

The Advocate Group are representing an exciting new FMCG business with huge opportunities for growth who have recently had substantial investment from a well-known international business.

This presents an exciting chance to contribute to a company with a diverse selection of products ethos and a commitment to achieving success. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established National Account Manager to join the company and help drive the company forward

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute channel specific strategies outlining key sectors and customers alongside timeframes and priorities.
  • Create detailed channel specific P & L reports in line with the company’s margin expectations.
  • Full account management of all listings to drive incremental volume, ROS, promotional support, etc…
  • Create monthly sales reports.
  • Build strong relationships with key retail partners and foodservice wholesalers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing contacts and creating new ones.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, with a direct impact on the overall growth of the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored sales strategies for the UK market.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Utilise CRM tools to track progress, manage customer interactions, and generate performance reports.

About You:

  • Proven experience in the off-trade sector, with at least two years in FMCG sales or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong drive for results.
  • Ability to build and lead a team.
  • Entrepreneurial and a self-starter
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively negotiating and closing deals.
  • Self-motivated with a clear track record of opening new doors and driving business growth.
