National Account Manager

Hybrid Working, Greater London (3 days a week in office)

£55,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Do you want to manage and develop customer relationships with a leading foodservice company? Are you a results-driven individual with the ability to manage customer accounts and grow sales?

We are seeking a National Account Manager to manage a portfolio of small to medium customer accounts, with a focus on maximizing sales value and margins. You will be responsible for developing strong relationships and identifying growth opportunities for existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve budgeted targets for NSV, £GP, and volume
  • Identify margin growth opportunities and develop a plan for implementation
  • Maintain up-to-date business reporting and customer records
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key contacts within the account portfolio
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the customer experience
  • Manage time effectively to ensure clear communication with customers
  • Prepare business proposals with the support of various internal functions
  • Deliver innovative solutions to customer challenges and drive account retention

About You:

  • Experience in the foodservice sector, ideally in education or healthcare
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written business English skills
  • Structured selling skills and an ability to handle objections
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
