Client Details

Although established 70 years ago, my client is still a small, tight knit business, with an existing footprint across the UK grocery channel. They supply Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods, across both ambient and chilled categories, and are now looking for a National Account Manager as they expand their team to service their continued growth.

Description

  • Actively prospect and win new business within the C&C / Convenience channel
  • Build strong relationships and grow your account base sustainably
  • Drive sales performance by implementing effective strategies
  • Build lasting relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with internal teams including supply and marketing to ensure customer needs are met
  • Use market research to inform sales strategies and account management
  • Represent the brand in a professional and positive manner
  • Use excellent communication skills to effectively negotiate and close deals
  • Regularly report on sales performance and customer feedback

Profile

  • Prior experience in C&C / convenience essential
  • Must have operated at regional or national level
  • Hunter mentality with a thirst for new business
  • Able to work autonomously
  • A track record of driving sales growth across cash & carry and convenience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • The ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
