Our client, a growing energy consultancy, is looking for a Net Zero Sales Consultant to join their team. With a mission to "Make Energy & Net Zero Simple" you'll play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities to help clients achieve their net zero, carbon reduction, and sustainability goals. In this role, you'll build strong client relationships, understand their sustainability objectives, and offer tailored solutions that drive sales while supporting carbon footprint reduction efforts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts aligned with net zero goals and SBTi criteria
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identify client sustainability challenges and recommend tailored solutions
  • Lead presentations, meetings, and workshops on net zero strategies, products, and SBT guidelines 

Skills & experience required:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the sustainability or renewable energy sector
  • Strong knowledge of net-zero concepts, renewable energy technologies, carbon accounting, and Science Based Targets (SBT or SBTi)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Degree educated in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field

Qualification by experience will be considered alongside evidence of success in a similar role
