Your Next Challenge

We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Sales Executive to join their Corporate Sales team, London based. As the Sales Executive you will source new potential corporate clients, making outbound calls and selling their international payments service to key decision makers. Build rapport and identify FX requirements to understand which product mix from spot, forwards, online platform or payment solutions would be the best solution for their business needs.

Role Responsibilities

Sourcing Quality New Leads:

  • Sourcing businesses that have an exposure to FX and make international payments.
  • Generating new opportunities with a min of £1m FX flow per annum.
  • Prospecting new opportunities effectively via various channels e.g. CRM database, lead sourcing platforms, websites and directories.
  • Identifying key decision makers within the business and structuring calls to obtain a full understanding of a potential client’s FX requirement Identifying their and motivations in order to qualify the lead.

Achievement of KPI’s & Targets:

  • Hitting monthly meeting numbers and revenue targets.
  • Achieving monthly KPI’s - call volumes, average call times, meetings booked, generating interest with brochures sent, new client count.

Building up a Portfolio of clients & keeping pipeline topped up:

  • Identifying custom.
  • Stimulating interest in offers and services.
  • Organising a second conversation or face to face meeting.
  • Pre-empting client and overcoming client objection by effectively communicating relevant solutions.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Finance experience especially in FX (minimum 6 months) - Essential.
  • Previous B2B sales experience (cold calling) - Essential.
  • Understanding of relevant product suite i.e., Spot and Forward contracts (Essential), and Options contracts (Highly Desirable).
  • Demonstrable experience of working towards targets.
  • Working within a multichannel environment e.g., telephone, email, face to face.
  • Relationship building with people at varying levels of seniority.
  • Experience communicating at C-suite level - Highly desirable.

  • Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organisation including prioritisation.
  • Clear communicator, both written and verbal.
  • IT literate; proficient in CRM, EXCEL and Word.
