Position Summary:The Ladurée Bartender plays a vital role in creating a luxurious and memorable experience for customers visiting Laduréesrestaurant. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, including specialty cocktails, teas, and coffees, while ensuring exceptional service that aligns with Laduréeshigh standards. As a key team member, the Bartender also upholds the presentation of the bar area, manages stock, and represents the brands ethos of elegance and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Beverage Preparation and Presentation

  • Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, teas, coffees, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to Ladurées recipes and presentation standards.

  • Create visually appealing drinks that reflect the sophistication of the Ladurée brand.

  • Stay updated on seasonal or limited-edition beverages and contribute to their promotion.

  • Adhere to hygiene and safety standards when handling food and beverages.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Provide a warm and friendly welcome to customers, ensuring an elegant and professional experience at the bar.

  • Engage with customers, providing knowledgeable recommendations and answering questions about beverages and menu items.

  • Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution.

  • Ensure efficient and courteous service during peak times without compromising quality.

Sales and Upselling

  • Actively promote and upsell beverages, pairing drinks with pastries or menu items to enhance the customer experience.

  • Assist the café team in achieving sales targets by encouraging customers to explore new or premium drink options.

  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments.

Bar Area Maintenance and Stock Management

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring it is always presentable and well-stocked.

  • Restock supplies, including ingredients, glassware, and garnishes, as needed throughout the day.

  • Monitor stock levels, reporting shortages or maintenance issues to management promptly.

  • Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in stock rotation to maintain product quality.

Product Knowledge and Brand Representation

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Ladurées beverages, recipes, and brand history.

  • Represent the Ladurée ethos through polished appearance, refined behavior, and attentive customer interactions.

  • Attend team briefings and training sessions to stay informed about new menu items, service standards, and operational updates.

  • Share knowledge with customers about beverage ingredients, preparation techniques, and Ladurées unique offerings.

Operational Support

  • Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring all bar-related tasks are completed efficiently.

  • Collaborate with the café and boutique teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

  • Follow all health and safety regulations, particularly regarding food handling and equipment use.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with team members, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new products, promotions, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a waiter or waitress, ideally in a luxury or high-end restaurant, café, or hospitality setting.

  • Excellent beverage preparation skills, including knowledge of cocktails, teas, and coffees.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple orders and maintaining attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.

Preferred Skills:

  • Passion for gourmet beverages, pastries, and the Ladurée brand.

  • Barista or mixology certification is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory management.
