We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established organization in the shipping industry, looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive (Accounts Payable) to join their finance team. In this role you’ll manage the day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and efficiently. You will process a high volume of invoices through the procurement and ERP system.You’ll prepare monthly bank reconciliations, take ownership of the accounts payable close, and post journal entries for month-end accruals and prepayments. Additionally, you’ll assist with VAT return preparations and other ad-hoc accounting duties, all while maintaining a high level of attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of every transaction. Our Ideal candidate will have:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounts payable role.
Experience with Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud Applications or similar accounting software is highly advantageous
Proactive, with the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal departments.
Exposure to the shipping or maritime industry is a plus but not essential
