Morgan McKinley are seeking an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Associate / Bookkeeper to join a fast-growing SaaS business based in Central London, with a dynamic and innovative approach to delivering cutting-edge software solutions.

This role is paying up to £45,000 per annum with hybrid working available. The role requires proficiency in key financial tools like Payhawk, Xero, and Textstack.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process supplier invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate AP records.
  • Maintain and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes, including preparing reports for management and auditors.
  • Work with the finance team to manage cash flow and ensure proper allocation of payments.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies or queries.
  • Proficient in Payhawk, Xero, and Textstack to manage transactions and streamline financial processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and supplier statements regularly.
  • Ensure financial records are accurately maintained and comply with legal requirements.
  • Provide support to the finance team as needed, assisting with ad-hoc tasks and reporting requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in accounts payable and bookkeeping, ideally within a SaaS or tech business.
  • Proficiency with Payhawk, Xero, and Textstack is essential.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience with month-end close processes and reconciliations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams and vendors.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • AAT or similar qualification in accounting (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
