Office based, 9am to 5:30pm
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000

They are now looking for you to become the newest member of their accounts team as the Accounts Payable Specialist.
As the successful Accounts Payable you will be responsible for:
- Processing invoices from multiple suppliers (up to 50 per week).
- Expenses.
- Double entry bookkeeping.
- Complex multi-entity invoicing (manual).
- Completing the purchase ledger from start to finish.
- Month end journals up to Trial Balance.
- Preparing creditor payment lists.
- Data manipulation using Excel.
- Credit Control - via email and phone.
To be successful as the Accounts Payable you will:
- Be able to remain calm in a high-pressure environment.
- Have previous Sage Line 50 experience.
- Be commercially aware and be able to pre-empt your workload.
- Have a solid understanding of double entry bookkeeping and debits vs credits.
- Be proficient at MS Excel (VLOOKUP’s, formulas etc.).
- Have a flexible approach to work and be a team player.
This is an immediate start role and will give you the opportunity to join a truly entrepreneurial business and develop your skills in complex transactional accounting. Alternatively, someone with extensive experience in traditional bookkeeping who wants to work locally in East London as oppose to The City.
The job title accounts payable may also be known as purchase ledger or bought ledger.
