Are you an experienced, professional and dedicated Accounts Assistant who is looking for a role that is varied, busy and involved? If so, Angela Mortimer has the role for you!
An industry leading association based in central London have a great opportunity to join their Finance and Accounts team. You will be part of the small team who support the whole business, and you will be working closely with the Head of Finance, MD and membership team to ensure the smooth running of the purchase and sales ledgers.
Main duties will include:
- Checking and coding invoices, preparing the payrun and making BACS payments.
- Month end reporting and reconciliations
- Preparing trail balances
- Maintenance of sales ledger and cash book
- Highlighting any credit control issues
- Calculating and raising invoices
- Preparing payments and transfers of funds, processing card transactions and daily banking of monies.
- Ensuring all internal ledgers and systems are maintained and kept up to date.
- Answering member queries.
Some previous experience within accounts is essential but the team are happy to support in training and longer-term with qualifications. You will be highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and have an excellent eye for detail. You should be happy to work in a busy and varied role and have a flexible and cooperative approach.
The working hours are 9-5.30 and the offices are based in central London within easy access of London Victoria Station as well as the Victoria, District and Central lines. The salary for this role is in the region of £35000 and they company have a good benefits package and fun, down to earth and busy working environment.
