About the Role:

We are confidentially recruiting for a well-established law firm based in Camden, NW1. With over 50 years of expertise in the legal sector, the firm is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join their finance team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in legal finance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing both residential and commercial completions.
  • Processing CHAPS, BACS, and international payments efficiently.
  • Handling client receipts, designated deposit accounts, and client interest payments.
  • Ensuring full compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and internal policies.
  • Experience with CCMS reporting and billing is essential.
  • Processing LAA remittance advice and CWA reporting for Legal Help submissions.
  • Staying current on LAA Costs Assessment Guidance and applying Civil Procedures Rules.

What We're Looking For:

  • A team-orientated individual with a strong focus on client service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • In-depth knowledge of Solicitors Accounts rules and legal aid processes.
  • Confidence using software including Outlook, Excel, and online banking.
