We are partnering with a prominent healthcare institution in London to strengthen their finance team with an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk. If you have experience in purchase ledger management and are immediately available, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Here’s what you’ll be doing...

?? As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will:

  • Process purchase invoices and credit notes in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Reconcile purchase ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain accurate supplier accounts and ensure they are up to date.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve any queries or payment issues.
  • Prepare and process payment runs in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare finance standards and accounting regulations.
  • Provide general support to the finance team as needed.

?? What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience working in a purchase ledger role, ideally within healthcare.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Sage50 and Sage200.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work well within a team.
  • Knowledge of healthcare finance processes is a plus, but not essential.
  • Immediately available or available at short notice.
