Robert Half Finance & Accounting are exclusively partnering with a globally recognised, listed luxury retail company based in central London. They are recruiting for a sales ledger clerk on a permanent basis .

Role:

Our client is looking to recruit a sales ledger clerk, on a permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for the following duties:

General & Receivable Ledger

  • Reconciliation between P&L and BS receivable accounts
  • Ensure accurate allocations of revenues across our P&L cost centres
  • Monthly revenues reporting for UK & IR branch
  • Allocation and reconciliation of AR clearing accounts (cash, petty cash, credit cards, gift cards, etc.)
  • Raising local and IC invoices
  • Quarterly reconciliation of IC receivable accounts
  • Preparation, review and registration of month-end journals (reclassification, accruals etc.)

Treasury

  • Ensuring accurate allocation and reconciliation of the received payments
  • Weekly bank reconciliation
  • Ensuring timely process of clients refunds (local and e-com)

Other

  • Ensuring compliance with VAT rules
  • Supporting customer service with chargeback processes
  • Supporting Finance Manager with auditor's queries regarding revenue accounts
  • Monitoring and responding to store and internal teams inquiries
  • Ad hoc activities supporting company new projects and events

Profile:

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in a sales ledger clerk role for a luxury retailer. Any exposure to SAP is very ideally.

1 month notice max .

Client:

Our client is a globally recognised, listed luxury retail based in central London. You will work 4 day per week from their office and 1 days from home.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary - £30,000 - £35,000

Location - Victoria

Working pattern - 4 days a week in the office, 1 day from home

Benefits:

Annual Leave: 31 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
