Your new companyYour new job working as a Binder Senior Technician, will be working for an innovative and growing Independent Global Lloyd's Brokers who have been established for over 100 years. With offices based in the UK, USA and worldwide your new Brokers pride themselves on understanding the importance of being client-focused and are growing in all areas, they have recently been named an employer of choice. Due to substantial growth within their Delegated Authority team a permanent position within the Operations team for a Senior Technician handling Binders has arisen.Your new roleYour new job working as a Senior Binder Technician will be working within the Operations team as part of the Broker Technical Services division providing?a first-class service to all coverholders in all aspects of their insurance arrangements. This role will involve providing support to management and the training of team members where required, assisting with and production and analysis of daily / weekly and monthly reports relating to KPI's within the team.Duties will also include production and renewal of Binding Authorities slips as well as creating and checking Binding Authority slip documentation for accuracy, processing third party bordereaux via internal processing systems to the bureau, handling and resolving client queries in relation to Slip and Premium issues and producing endorsements when required. Other duties will include dealing with profit commission calculations and handling any client queries.What you'll need to succeedYour previous experience handling Binding Authorities as a Technician in the London Insurance Market will contribute to your success. You will have good knowledge and understanding of Binding Authorities and or Delegated Authority contracts, Microsoft Office products and London Market information technology systems. You will have a willingness to develop your knowledge, attention to detail, an ability to make own judgement and high verbal and written communication skills.
