Your new job working as a DUA Technician/Binder Technician will be at a Lloyd's Broker that has operated in the London market for over thirty years. They have established themselves as a reputable Lloyd's broker, providing a wide range of services to both commercial and personal clients, specialising in areas such as professional lines, corporate risks, international insurance, healthcare, and speciality insurance. They offer a dynamic and supportive environment where your skills and career can thrive. Due to growth within the Technical team, a permanent job for a DUA Technician/Binder Technician has arisen.

Your new role

Your new job as a DUA Technician/Binder Technician means you will handle the administration of premium payments, statements and bordereaux as well as the processing of new business and renewals in line with specified terms and conditions. You will assist the Director and provide support to other members of the team. Duties will include making and reconciling payments to the Bureau, chasing and monitoring premiums, producing statistics, acting as point of contact for client queries and attending client and underwriter meetings to support colleagues. Further duties will also include diarising, tracking and chasing documentation and information, producing and acting in accordance with the terms of any binding authority, line slips or MRC and undertake general administrative duties when required. Additionally, you will obtain an underwriting agreement for slips, endorsements and wordings and chase underwriter in the event of outstanding quotes and compile and monitor premium warranties.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Binding Authority Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally, you will have at least 5 years of experience within the London insurance market. You will have high level knowledge and understanding of Binding Authorities and possess strong communication skills, an ability to work in a team, and have strong business awareness who are driven to produce results and has a focus on client relationships.
