Description

As a Scientist - Assay Development you will:

  • Develop and validate a range of assays to support with ongoing clinical research projects
  • Support with sample analysis and delivery of projects, communicating with clients and/or stakeholder to provide updates
  • Prepare and review documentation including study plans and completed reports
  • Assist in writing and reviewing publications aligned to research objectives
  • The main focus of assays will be relating to virology / microbiology or immunological assays

Profile

To be successful you will have:

  • PhD in relevant discipline with a background in Virology, Immunology or Microbiology
  • First-hand experience developing and validating assays in an industry setting
  • In depth experience and knowledge of virology techniques including those such as infectivity assays
  • An ability to work on multiple projects simultaneous, prioritising workload to deliver objectives in a collaborative environment
