Our client, a multi-award winning innovative independent business book publisher is looking to hire a Corporate Sales Manager to devise and implement strategic plans to drive continued revenue growth through Corporate and Author Bulk sales.
Reporting to and working closely with the Commercial Director, the Corporate Sales Manager will manage the full opportunity lifecycle for achieving corporate sales goals, across the UK and international territories.
Corporate Sales Manager: Key responsibilities
Optimise the quality, efficiency and profitability of sales operations Adopt established best practice as well as refine current processes to ensure achievement of sales goals Work with Commissioning Editors to ensure relevant titles have author/corporate buybacks Partner with authors to maximise direct sales opportunities Grow relationships with existing portfolio of corporate clients and professional associations including the likes of PwC, Accenture, CiM etc. Work with Marketing on lead generation campaigns, managing pipeline to close Seek out and maximize custom edition opportunities Exploring new areas of opportunity for Corporate digital product sales.
Corporate Sales Manager: Skills/experience
Successful track record in needs-based, consultative selling and pipeline management Thinks strategically and is happy managing operational/administrative tasks Has a passion for spotting new business opportunities and exploring them Is a team player who can build effective internal working relationships Experience working within the book publishing sector is highly desirable.
