�? Join an exciting industry in film and television! Our client, a dynamic organisation in the entertainment sector, is seeking a talented Part-time Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a Fixed Term Contract opportunity starting on November 25, 2024, for a duration of 12 months. �?

?? About the Role:

As a Part-time Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing client bank accounts and processing accounts payable. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilising NatWest Bankline to handle client bank accounts and ensure smooth transactions
  • Regularly communicating with clients, addressing queries, and providing exceptional customer service
  • Managing credit control and overseeing outstanding invoices to maintain healthy financial accounts
  • Conducting general bookkeeping duties such as bank reconciliations, expense processing, supplier payments, and payroll journals
  • Assisting with staff payroll and ensuring compliance with annual reporting requirements
  • Contributing to general office management and supporting supplier contracts
  • Providing management support to the Accounts Assistant and collaborating with the team
  • Preparing financial reports upon request from the directors
  • Assisting external accountants with VAT returns and Management/Year-End Accounts
  • Offering bookkeeping services to a one director company, showcasing expertise in depreciation register, accruals, prepayments journals, VAT returns & MTD submissions

? Key Skills & Experience:

Our ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and reliable. If you have:

  • Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role
  • AAT or ACCA qualification (desirable)

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:

  • Sage 50 Accounts
  • Sage 50 Payroll
  • Basic PAYE Tools
  • Sage Accounting (previously Sage One)
  • Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
