Reed are seeking a Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to efficiently manage the accounts for a dynamic, friendly, and diverse business. This role involves handling financial reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial activities.
Day-to-day of the role:- Input all invoices, petty cash, credit cards, and staff expenses into Sage 50 accurately.
- Process payments and raise invoices.
- Raise sales invoices to clients and keep all ledgers, accounts, and filing systems up to date.
- Address general finance queries from staff or external shareholders.
- Identify and mitigate any potential financial losses.
- Assist the Financial Controller with various tasks as needed.
- Help prepare monthly board papers and monthly and quarterly reports.
- Assist in maintaining Excel reporting sheets.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in Sage 50 Accounts.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
