Bookkeeper (3 month contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Bookkeeper with experience using Xero and SAP, to join our client on a part-time basis for a 3-month contract. This role is based in the vibrant area of central Wimbledon and offers a fantastic opportunity for a professional looking to apply their accounting skills in a dynamic environment and support the business in their transition moving their accounts in-house.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Manage bank feeds, reconcile bank accounts and prepare bank deposits.
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information.
  • Comply with legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Handle monthly payroll using accounting software.
  • Collaborate with our financial team to assist with financial planning and budget management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in Xero and SAP. 
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Relevant certification or degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
