My client are looking for an experienced bookkeeper and all rounder to join their finance team and support their operations with both administrative and financial skills. You should be detail-oriented, organised and discreet in handling sensitive financial data. My client are looking for someone happy to help with both financial and administrative tasks, happy to get stick in and support where necessary.

This role can be mostly remote, but you must be based in London or surrounding areas as you may need to visit the office a few times in the month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the finance department.
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and prepare necessary documents.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders efficiently.
  • Maintain both electronic and physical financial records accurately.
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including bank account management.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including attendance and evaluations.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Perform general duties such as filing, scanning, and managing correspondence.Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an administrative or financial support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
