Our client is an innovative and creative design brand based in Camden. They are on the lookout for a Bookkeeper to join our finance team. As a company known for our unique and exciting products, we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and enjoys variety in their role.

This role will be based in their Camden office Monday to Thursday, with Fridays being a work from home day.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Managing UK supplier payments and entering them into Access Dimensions, their accounting software.
  • Handling interbank currency transfers and calculating product royalty payments.
  • Raising ad hoc invoices, inputting exchange rates, and preparing stock valuation reports.
  • Organising supplier invoices and assisting with quarterly VAT returns.
  • Reconciling payment portals (PayPal, Braintree, etc.) and handling deferred/postponed VAT.
  • Processing staff expenses, analysing credit card statements, and entering data into nominal codes.
  • Preparing commission statements and managing direct debit entries.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for external credit controllers, dealing with any enquiries regarding specific accounts.

What We’re Looking For:

  • AAT - ideally, you’ll be at least level 3 qualified.
  • Experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounts role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Access experience is a bonus).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive team player who enjoys a variety of tasks and can handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Comfortable working in a lively, fast-paced environment.
