Our client is seeking an experienced IBA Technician to join their team on a remote working basis. This role offers the opportunity to manage a full range of IBA processes, providing support across cash allocations, payments, reconciliation, and credit control, while ensuring adherence to all procedures and compliance standards.

Main Duties:

路 Manage a portfolio of accounts, including credit control, statement production, and liaising with clients, markets, and internal teams to collect outstanding balances.路 Reconcile and allocate incoming receipts and outgoing payments, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.路 Handle client and market queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.路 Participate in credit control meetings with broking teams to address aged debt and escalate unresolved items.路 Produce and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports within the team.路 Maintain and update internal reporting systems and electronic filing systems.路 Utilize group mailboxes and adhere to internal processes and procedures at all times.

Essential Skills Required:

路 Proven experience in a similar IBA role.路 Proficient in Microsoft Office products.路 Basic knowledge of the London Market.路 Understanding of CASS rules and current FCA regulations.路 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.路 Strong organizational skills and ability to use initiative.路 Time management and prioritization skills.路 Ability to develop effective working relationships internally and externally.

Desirable:

路 Willingness to further develop knowledge of insurance and related issues through formal and informal learning.路 Practical experience adhering to and maintaining systems and procedures.
