Brand Development Manager (On Trade)

London

Up to £39,000 base salary + car allowance + bonus

I’m currently working with a top distributor of unique, artisanal drinks who is seeking a Brand Development Manager in London! In this role, you’ll manage a designated region and drive growth for a dynamic portfolio of premium spirits. You’ll collaborate with independent on-trade outlets, wholesalers, and experiential teams to execute brand activations and promotional activities in line with the brand strategy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive targeted distribution growth and sales of portfolio brands across your region.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, ensuring brand visibility through pouring, upsell, and menu features.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to execute promotional plans and activations effectively.
  • Negotiate support agreements with key customers and support off-trade and C&C teams when required.
  • Manage a customer base of over 120 outlets, ensuring regular calls and follow-ups to drive results.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer records and clear action plans to meet objectives.

About You:

  • Strong relationship-building, sales, and negotiation skills.
  • A passion for the drinks industry and the ability to articulate brand USPs with clarity and enthusiasm.
  • 12 months+ experience in a field-based sales role (ideally within the drinks trade but not essential).
  • Excellent time management, organisational, and planning skills.
  • A proactive, solution-focused attitude and the ability to work independently.
