We have partnered with a leading brand in the travel & service industry. They are seeking a Brand Marketing Programme Lead to join their team on a fixed term contract covering maternity until Spet 2025. Their offices are in London and they work to a hybrid model.

The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Brand Marketing leader with a proven track record in developing brand platforms and engaging cross-functional teams such as HR, Operations, and Marketing. This role will require managing strategic brand projects, providing recommendations based on insights, and influencing internal stakeholders who may not be well-versed in branding jargon. It's critical for the candidate to not only manage these projects but also collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing to align on strategic goals.A key responsibility will be leading the engagement on brand-related topics with confidence, driving decisions, and ensuring the brand vision is well-communicated and understood across all levels. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build trust and gain buy-in from stakeholders while managing complex brand strategy discussions. Additionally responsible for brand development and brand management responsibilities side of things.

You will have one direct report and have matrix accountability (not line reporting yet) for a Senior Brand Manager and a Junior Brand officer working closely with them. You would work closely with them on on brand guardianship and brand identity projects.The focus for this role will be on brand guardianship of the new brand identity ensuring that all communications, including assets like video, illustrations, copy, and messaging, are aligned with the new brand. While asset production is part of the role, the priority is more on overall brand strategy. They will work closely with the CEO and Chief of Staff, CCO and Marketing director.Requirements:

  • Have strong strategic experience rather than a focus on asset production. Have extensive understanding of brand strategy and practical experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams.
  • 10+ years of experience, ideally working client side due to the need to navigate internal politics. However, agency experience is also considered, especially if they have worked with high-profile clients in brand consultancy or strategic brand roles.
  • Fluency in French is not essential but would be a plus.
  • We are specifically looking for someone who can handle the strategic elements of the role, rather than someone focused on client management or account director roles.
  • Ideal candidate is a proven Head of Brand or Brand Senior leader
  • Strong experience in service-led brand strategy, ideally in the travel or service industries, as opposed to product-focused brands.
  • Must have the ability to work with internal stakeholders and established brand operating models.
