Contract Brand Programme Lead / Strategist - 1 Year FTC - Hybrid Central London- Salary: £62k-£65k + benefits- Maternity cover 1 year FTC until Sept 2025, with potential for extension- Central London-based, with some travel
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing brand platforms and engaging cross-functional teams such as HR, Operations, and Marketing. This role will require managing strategic brand projects, providing recommendations based on insights, and influencing internal stakeholders who may not be well-versed in branding jargon. It's critical that you are not only managing these projects but also collaborating closely with the Head of Marketing to align on strategic goals. A key responsibility will be leading the engagement on brand-related topics with confidence, driving decisions, and ensuring the brand vision is well-communicated and understood across all levels. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build trust and gain buy-in from stakeholders while managing complex brand strategy discussions. Additionally responsible for brand development and brand management responsibilities side of things. The focus will be on brand guardianship and ensuring that all communications, including assets like video, illustrations, copy, and messaging, are aligned with the new brand identity. While asset production is part of the role, the priority is more on overall brand strategy. You will work closely with their CEO and Chief of Staff, CCO and Marketing director. Requirements:
- Preference for someone with stronger strategic experience rather than a focus on asset production. It's important that you have both a top-down understanding of brand strategy and practical experience working with agencies and cross-functional teams.
- 10+ years of experience, ideally working on the client side due to the need to navigate internal politics. However, agency experience is also considered, especially if they have worked with high-profile clients in brand consultancy or strategic brand roles.
- Fluency in French is not essential but would be a plus.
- We are specifically looking for someone who can handle the strategic elements of the role, rather than someone focused on client management or account director roles. The ideal candidate is a Head of Brand / Brand Senior leadership role
- Strong experience in service-led brand strategy, ideally in the travel or service industries, as opposed to product-focused brands.
- Must have the ability to work with internal stakeholders and established brand operating models.
