Sales Development Representative | Fast Growth Music Licensing Business

Harmonic are delighted to be working on a retained basis alongside an extremely exciting, fast growth music licensing scale up in the search for a Sales Development Representative to join their growing team.

The Business:

The nature of this business is centred around providing real support to musicians, artists and YouTube content creators to help navigate through the online and digital landscape. Working with clients from across the globe, the organisation prides themselves on being a 'one stop shop' for Musicians, Artists, Record Labels, TikToker's and YouTubers, providing services such as content rights management, distribution, micro-licensing and more.

This extremely culture driven business focuses on values including respect, fun, knowledge and putting their clients interests at the forefront of their mission. With global headcount for the team at 35 and scaling, and turnover at £35 million and growing year-on-year, this is an extremely exciting opportunity to grow alongside, and have a real impact on the expansion of the business.

The Role:

This is a newly created role in line with the growth of the business, and represents a great and valuable opportunity to work under the leadership of a fantastic head of music and a brilliant senior sales team. The role, which supports flexible, hybrid working, will require an outward facing candidate that is adaptable and keen to work with one of the most exciting businesses in the music industry.

Perfect for either a first move into sales, or for those with some experience in the field, this is a great opportunity for ambitious, driven candidates keen to forge a career in business development and account management for a fast growth, values led music industry business. Working with some of the most high profile and exciting names in the music space, there are clear progression opportunities available to the successful candidate with the client keen on organic growth and development. Duties:

  • Lead generation through thorough research of clients monitoring multiple channels consistently
  • Outreach and engage with prospective clients to introduce services
  • Asses and qualify leads based on music business needs, growth potential and value proposition fit
  • Pitching and campaigning through creation of materials relating to potential clients to help senior team members
  • Collaborate closely with wider sales team and SLT to share insights and optimise lead generation strategies
  • Appointment settings through scheduling meetings and calls for senior sales team
  • Management of CRM system to ensure deals progress quickly and individual and team quotas are consistently met
  • Take responsibility for onboarding of new clients and ensure they are managed correctly throughout this process

Salary: £24k - £28k + (Year 1 OTE £40k | Year 2 OTE £50k)

Location: London (hybrid - 3 days in office / 2 from home)
