Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Operative to join our team at one of our Built to Rent sites. This site includes 220 apartments and a residents Clubhouse with a reception office. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the property, providing a safe and pleasant environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Basic Plumbing: Perform routine plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining plumbing systems.
  • Decorating: Carry out painting, wallpapering, and other decorating tasks to keep the property looking fresh and well-maintained.
  • Joinery Work: Undertake basic carpentry tasks including repairing furniture, fitting doors, and other woodwork-related maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in plumbing, decorating, and joinery work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills to interact with residents and team members.
