Consultancy Coordinator
£37,000 - £45,000 + discretionary performance related bonus + hybrid working
We are working with a leading Consultancy organisation linked to the world of academia who are hiring a Business Development Coordinator.
You will manage your own portfolio of pitch and proposal projects, initially with a lot of support from the team. You will deal with various stakeholders including internal teams, the academic consultants and external clients so you must have a confident and polished manner and be comfortable conversing at all levels.
Duties:
- Develop a strong understanding of the capabilities and objectives of the consultancy
- Provide advice, coordination and support on proposal development, costing, pricing and submission, liaising with consultants and colleagues
- Liaise with all stakeholders to develop consultancy service propositions to external clients
- Support staff in client relationship management in line with the consultancy strategy
- Liaise with Legal, Project Management, and Finance teams
- Identify external consultancy opportunities in line with organisational strategy
- Obtain client feedback on completed consultancy projects as a part of a process of continuous improvement
You:
You will be degree educated or similar, intellectually curious, and either have experience of business development and proposal creation within a consultancy or similar environment or have a background in working with academics/ • within higher education with a good grasp of commercial practices. Strong technical skills across MS Office essential and a strong background in multiple tech platforms are a strong advantage. In addition, you will need to be a confident and polished relationship manager, comfortable in meetings both in person and on-line with all levels of stakeholders.
This role offers access to a huge variety of projects, fascinating subject matter a friendly, intelligent and supportive team along with a very flexible hybrid policy (minimum 1 day per week in the central London office).
