We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Pricing Analyst to contribute to our retail company's pricing strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing competitor pricing matched with market expectations to determine the best target price for products within our portfolio. The role will be based in the West End (London) office in Paddington 3 days per week and will be part of a rapidly growing pricing team and company.

Client Details

Our client is a rapidly growing organisation, that are renowned for its vast portfolio of beauty products and range of luxury brands. The finance team has grown quickly over the last few months and the client is looking for a progressive Pricing Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis. There is a wealth of growth opportunity in the business and the successful candidate will report directly into the Pricing Director. They see this role developing into a Pricing Manager position in a bit. The business is looking to grow the Pricing team from 3 to 8 buy the end of the year an you will be one of the first new hires into the team.

Description

The successful Pricing Analyst will:

  • Accurate uploading of prices into the system
  • Create and maintain order forms accurately by brand throughout the region to deadline and maintaining customer files
  • Support in improving efficiency in billing systems and pricing processes
  • Support in improving the control of pricing data and distribution
  • Dealing with price claims and price queries
  • Collaborate with regional teams to release shipments on hold due to pricing
  • Assist the Manager in any ad hoc reports and competitive analysis
  • Assist in the establishment and growth of the department through supporting the roll-out of new processes cross functionally
  • Develop an extensive understanding of our customers and product assortment to become a point of contact for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service
  • Communicate pricing to customers via our order forms and customer specific article forms
  • Identify long term system solutions to enable better work flow
  • Reporting and analysis for assigned Brands
  • Audit of prices in ERP system
  • New customer administration

Profile

A successful Pricing Analyst should have:

  • 2 or more year of experience as a Pricing Analyst
  • MUST have prior experience working in a retail/FMCG/stock based industry
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Eager grow and develop through a team and a business
  • Solid understanding of the retail industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to present complex data in a clear manner.

Job Offer
