About The RoleTeam – Intermediary Sales AnalyticsWorking Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality London Office. Full time, 37.5 hours per week. We are happy to discuss flexible working!What this role is all about:As the Senior MI Analyst you will provide reporting, information and insight into the performance of distribution which enables effective strategic decision making. You will generate insight which supports decision-making and enable action across the group. You will have the chance to develop, deliver, maintain and communicate timely and accurate management information (MI) suite to all stakeholders.Key Actions
  • Create self-service reporting and ad hoc analysis across a range of platforms (Power BI, Salesforce, Excel) for a range of end users.
  •  Provide detailed trend analysis, insights and recommendations in line with business strategies.
  • Responsibility for creating and managing bonus models and/or incentive structures for Distribution.
  • Reporting key insights at multiple business levels including higher up.
  • Target setting and review across channels and product houses.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identifying root causes of trends and seeking to consistently improve quality of output.
  • Macro-economic outlook – understanding impacts of environment on business performance and deliver associated insights.
  • Identify anomalies and data issues and developing solutions to improve overall reporting.
  • Manage key strategic MI projects and developments across the team and wider business where needed.
  • Provide support Head of Sales Analytics and senior management.
  • Work with BI to improve data quality, availability, provisioning and governance.
  • Help with solution design and problem solving.
What do you need to thrive?
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject to Data Analytics, (computing / programming / mathematics / statistics / economics).
  • 3+ years’ experience of data analysis and report building in Power BI.
  • Data visualisation experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
  • Intermediate understanding of relational database architecture and querying using SQL.
  • Familiar with data warehousing concepts.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work flexibly
