Senior Pricing Analyst |

City of London (Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office)|

£70,000 - £80,000 + benefits |

As part of a growing team, we are looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join a world-leading professional services firm. This firm is known for its expertise in advising major corporate and financial institutions, including a significant number of Fortune 100, FTSE 100, and DAX-listed companies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the firm’s pricing strategy, working closely with partners and business teams to develop thoughtful, commercially sound fee arrangements.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Pricing Analyst

  • Collaborative Pricing & Financial Guidance - Work alongside partners, business development teams, and other colleagues to shape client fee arrangements and pricing strategies.
  • Tailored Fee Structuring - Develop creative and flexible fee arrangement options in response to client needs, RFPs, and ad-hoc pricing requests.
  • Financial Insights & Analysis - Assess the impact of proposed pricing structures, providing clear insights to support decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Guide and support the fee approval process, working with financial committees and leadership teams.
  • Post-Matter Review & Insights - Conduct financial analysis on completed matters, offering valuable pricing insights to partners and business teams.
  • Market & Competitor Research - Monitor industry trends and pricing strategies to help the firm stay competitive.
  • Process & Technology Improvements - Work with the Pricing and Legal Project Management teams to enhance tools, technology, and workflows.
  • Project Support & Reporting - Assist with key initiatives and reporting to support wider business goals.

Skills & Attributes of the Senior Pricing Analyst

  • Experience in a professional services or partnership environment, ideally within a law firm.
  • A background in professional services pricing and fee negotiation, financial analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, particularly in Excel; Power BI and SQL skills are beneficial.
  • Experience working with multi-currency financial systems.
  • Organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Clear communication skills, able to explain financial concepts in an accessible way.
  • A team-focused approach, building strong relationships and working collaboratively across different functions.
