Business Process Improvement Manager (Automation) - Global Management Consultancy - Hybrid/ Remote Working

Robert Half are delighted to be partnering with a global Business Consulting firm and are seeking a an Automation Manager to join their fast growing client facing Business Process Improvement division.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managers are responsible for serving clients and ensuring the successful execution of projects
  • Support the delivery and management of BPI engagements. Producing and overseeing work outputs to a high technical quality including but not limited to:

- Design and delivery of client workshops, focused on the gathering of business requirements.

- The translation of business requirements to functional technical requirements for use by our development teams.

- Design of automation solutions for complex business processes.

- Assist in the review of products produced by our teams, providing valuable insight and actionable feedback to ensure high quality deliverables to our clients.

  • Lead and manage projects, teams, skills and service areas, developing commercial plans, managing project finances and resourcing and engaging in a broad range of consulting activities.
  • Play a key role in the development of BPI Operational Transformation opportunities by managing activity required to propose and bid for work.
  • Further develop, with the Company's support, the UK Intelligent Automation portfolio as well as personal expertise to differentiate yourself and their business in the marketplace.
  • Work across the UK solution teams to provide subject matter expertise and input into proposals and engagements.
  • Manage internal and client staff in line with our BPI practices for the successful delivery of client engagements.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience including 1-2 years in an automation, technology delivery or technology advisory related role within consulting or industry.
  • Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment.
  • Ability to identify automation opportunities as part of complex business processes.
  • Ability to both gather business requirements and then convert those business requirements into tangible technical requirements.
  • Ability to manage medium sized development teams (5-10 developers).
  • Experience of developing strong working relationships with both an internal and an external customer / client team.
  • Experience with any one of the following technologies: o Robotic Process Automation (RPA) - UIPath, BluePrism. o Data Visualisation (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik). o End user application development (PowerApps). o Process Mining (Celonis). * Python/SQL/C# development experience.

As a business they are very flexible, this role will be based from home with the ability to come to their London or Midlands Office when desired, there may also be a need to visit client site on occasions
