One of our energy clients is looking for a Cost Transformation specialist to support the business stripping out costs enterprise wide.
Role: Cost Transformation Consultant
Contract: 3 months initially
Day rate: £900-£1300pd Outside IR35 - depending on experience
Location: Hybrid role with travel required as and when needed to Central London
We are currently working with a utilities business who are looking to strip out costs across the business. They are looking for a Cost Transformation Consultant to partner with the COO to influence the exec team on what they need to do from a cost perspective. They are looking for someone who can assess the business and find opportunities for cost optimization, shape a cost reduction plan and then follow it through to delivery.
This may include looking at cost optimization, cost efficiency, looking at how technology can be used to reduce costs and organisation design/restructures to reduce headcounts. They are after someone who can formulate these plans from scratch and then successfully deliver these cost reduction initiatives without damaging/affecting their customer experience.
Key requirements:
- Must have designed and delivered Cost Transformation initiatives, stripping out costs enterprise wide
- Qualified accountant
- Must have worked within a retail or consumer business (Utilities, energy, retail, telco etc)
- Experience restructuring a business and leading an organisational design initiative
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence the board on what cost cutting initiative they need to embark on
- Experience reshaping the technology base of a business in order to strip out costs
This is an initial 3 month contract outside IR35 with travel as and when required to central London.
