Business Development Executive – Sponsorship Sales

£28K – £32K base | £45K OTE

Hybrid: 2–3 days per week in the office – Central London

What’s the role?

We’re looking for a confident and motivated Junior Business Development Executive to join a small, friendly team in the world of event sponsorship sales. If you’re early in your sales career, eager to learn, and excited by the idea of building meaningful relationships and bringing in new business – this could be the perfect next step.

You’ll be part of an encouraging, experienced team who will support your growth and give you room to shine. It’s a brilliant opportunity to learn the ropes of B2B sales in a well-established, professional, and positive environment.

How much will I earn?

The salary is £28,000 – £32,000, depending on your experience.There’s also a performance-based commission scheme, with the potential to earn up to £10,000 extra per year.

Where will I be working?

The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in a Central London office, and the rest working from home. You’ll be part of a collaborative, close-knit team who are in the office together for learning, coaching and bouncing around ideas.

What will I be doing?

You’ll be learning how to build and manage your own sales pipeline – with support from the team every step of the way. Your main commitments will include:

  • Researching and generating new leads through LinkedIn, calls, email and video meetings

  • Reaching out to potential sponsors and explaining the value of attending

  • Booking and attending virtual meetings to pitch event sponsorship packages

  • Keeping your CRM tidy and up to date

  • Working closely with the wider team to ensure sponsors are happy, informed and excited to attend

  • Some previous sales experience – ideally B2B or customer-facing

  • Confidence communicating with people at all levels

  • Willingness to learn and take feedback onboard
