About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Marketing and Business Development Executive to join a leading law firm and support their dynamic Intellectual Property (IP) practice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for marketing and business development, with a particular interest in the legal sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the firm's IP practice growth and enhancing its market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns to promote the IP practice and raise the firm's profile in relevant sectors.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with senior lawyers to identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with existing clients, and support cross-selling initiatives across the firm's practices.
  • Content Creation & Communication: Write engaging content, including thought leadership pieces, blogs, newsletters, and case studies, to showcase the firm's expertise in IP law.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and manage client events, webinars, and seminars to strengthen client relationships and promote the firm's services in the IP space.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to inform strategic business development efforts.
  • Branding & Collateral: Support the creation of high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, pitch documents, and presentations to enhance client engagement and positioning.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in marketing and business development, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment (experience in IP practice is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, with a creative and strategic mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
