A well-established offshore law firm is seeking a strategic Senior Business Development Manager to collaborate with sector teams in crafting and executing annual business plans. This role involves identifying growth opportunities, fostering key client relationships, and ensuring seamless communication across the firm.

The Role:

  • Working closely with sector teams to assess market gaps, define priorities, and outline relationship-building strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, promoting a full suite of legal, corporate, fiduciary, and regulatory consulting services.
  • Leading quarterly sector team meetings, ensuring data insights are prepared and discussed effectively.
  • Developing and overseeing a structured engagement plan for key clients, intermediaries, and referral partners at various levels.
  • Enhancing client communication processes by implementing efficient channels and innovative solutions.
  • Gathering and analysing client feedback to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and sector strategies.
  • Collaborating closely with the in-house Client Research team to commission studies, analyse findings, and providing actionable insights on client relationships.
  • Maintaining regular reporting on sector performance, covering business activity, financials, market trends, pipeline progress, and marketing initiatives.
  • Managing a centralised knowledge portal to store key sector information and insights.
  • Ensuring the firm's CRM and reporting systems are effectively utilised to track relationship activities, business opportunities, and market intelligence.

To Qualify:

  • Demonstrated experience in key account management, business development, or event management within professional services or financial sectors.
  • Strong background in B2B relationship management, with the ability to engage senior professionals and build trust.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, adaptable across different cultural and professional backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute high-quality marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary, in line with company policies.
