Business Intelligence Manager - Fast Growth PE Backed Tech Scale Up - London

Harmonic are delighted to work on an exclusive basis with a global fast growth Ad-Tech business looking to make a pivotal hire within their BI team.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a mid-market dynamic business and will be looking for the opportunity to progress into a Head of within an 18-month to two year timeframe. The business is known for balancing ambition, market leading performance and great culture. They boast one of the best retention rates in the sector.

This key role offers the opportunity to work with a high-performing team and collaborate closely with global stakeholders to shape data strategies that drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have both technical expertise and strong commercial acumen, with a demonstrated ability to oversee a team of BI professionals while enhancing data management and insights delivery.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and develop a global team of BI analysts and data engineers, creating a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
  • Oversee the cleanup and management of data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across various systems. You will play a key role in preparing data for a refinancing and private equity deal
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the BI function, ensuring the team's capabilities align with the new ERP program.
  • Drive the development of scalable solutions, including dashboards, self-service analysis, and automated insights, empowering teams to act on data-driven decisions.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior leaders, FP&A teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure BI deliverables meet business needs, delivering critical insights for growth and decision-making.
  • Systems & Reporting: Lead the design, development, and optimization of BI systems and tools

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing global teams or working in a global organisation
  • Skills: High-level technical expertise in BI tools (e.g., ThoughtSpot, Salesforce, ERP systems) combined with commercial awareness.
  • Leadership: Ability to manage and mentor a diverse, high-performance team, holding them accountable for results while promoting an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
  • Commercial Acumen: Experience working with FP&A teams, RevOps, and senior business leaders to align BI strategy with business needs and deliver impactful insights that drive growth.
  • A results-driven mindset, with a clear focus on scaling BI capabilities, data quality, and reporting as the company progresses towards significant milestones.

Bonus experience:

  • Experience in a Tech scale up

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + 20% bonus
